This Privacy Policy explains how we process your personal data, including how we collect, use, and process your data when you visit our website, request information, or subscribe to and use our services, including the GoContact Call-Center Solution.
In doing so, we comply with our legal obligations, as your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to protecting and safeguarding your data privacy rights. This Privacy Policy applies to Syndeo LLC, d/b/a Broadvoice (“Broadvoice”).
If you are a resident of the European Union, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to certain processing activities involving your Personal Information.
In addition, EU/EEA and UK residents have the right to data portability, the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Broadvoice processes Personal Information on one or more of the following legal bases: performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, your consent, and Broadvoice’s legitimate interests.
Where Personal Information is transferred outside the EEA or the UK, Broadvoice relies on appropriate safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

International Data Transfers. Personal Information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where Broadvoice or its service providers operate. Broadvoice implements appropriate safeguards where required by applicable law.
This California Privacy Notice applies only to California residents and supplements the information contained elsewhere in this Privacy Policy. It is intended to satisfy Broadvoice’s disclosure obligations under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the “CCPA”).
Except as expressly provided in this California Privacy Notice, all other provisions of this Privacy Policy continue to apply. If there is any conflict between this California Privacy Notice and another provision of this Privacy Policy with respect to California residents, this California Privacy Notice will control to the extent required by applicable California law.

Broadvoice may verify the identity of the requesting individual before responding to requests.

Verification, Authorized Agents, and Response Timing. To protect your Personal Information, Broadvoice will verify your identity before responding to a request and may require additional information for verification. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, provided the agent presents proof of authorization and, where required, you verify your identity directly with Broadvoice.
Broadvoice will confirm receipt of a request within ten (10) business days and respond within forty-five (45) calendar days, subject to one additional forty-five (45) day extension with notice where reasonably necessary. If Broadvoice denies your request, you may appeal by contacting Broadvoice using the information above.
Broadvoice does not knowingly solicit or collect Personal Information from children under the age of thirteen. If you believe a child has provided Personal Information to Broadvoice, please contact us so the information can be removed.
Broadvoice is committed to safeguarding your information through administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to protect against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
Despite Broadvoice’s reasonable safeguards, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and Broadvoice cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention. Broadvoice retains Personal Information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide and support services, comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations such as CPNI and telecommunications recordkeeping requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Retention periods vary based on the type of information and applicable legal requirements. When Personal Information is no longer required, Broadvoice will delete, de-identify, or anonymize it.
Broadvoice does not trade, sell, or disclose subscriber identifiable information to third parties for marketing purposes without consent. Broadvoice does not sell Personal Information for monetary consideration. Broadvoice does not share Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising except as described in this Privacy Policy or as otherwise permitted by applicable law.
Broadvoice may share Personal Information with vendors, contractors, affiliates, cloud providers, payment processors, telecommunications providers, and other service providers performing services on Broadvoice’s behalf.
Broadvoice may disclose information as required by law, including in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal processes, or where necessary to prevent harm, fraud, or unlawful activity.
Automated Decision-Making. Broadvoice does not use Personal Information to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning individuals.
Broadvoice may use subscriber identifiable information to investigate, prevent, or address activities that threaten the integrity of services, violate agreements, or may otherwise be unlawful.
In accordance with the California Invasion of Privacy Act (“CIPA”) Section 632(a), Broadvoice provides notice regarding chat recording and monitoring practices where applicable.
Subscribers are responsible for ensuring that information maintained with Broadvoice is current and accurate. Account information may be updated through the Broadvoice portal or by contacting customer support.
Broadvoice reserves the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes become effective upon posting unless otherwise required by applicable law.
