  • BroadVoice Unlimited In-State Plan
    One flat rate of $9.95 per month includes all in-state calls. State-to-state calls are only 3.9 cents per minute any day, any time.

What are your international rates?

BroadVoice offers low international rates and, better, rate plans that include unlimited international calls to many countries.

What is Emergency 911 Cost Recovery Fee?

The Emergency 911 Cost Recovery Fee of $0.99 applies to each voice line in your account.  This fee is used to recover costs directly associated with developing, implementing and maintaining a nationwide E911 in compliance with FCC regulations, 911 dialing and national 911 emergency call center.


What is the Federal, State and Local Services fee?

The Federal, State and Local Services (FSLS) is a FCC program designed to ensure the availability of affordable telecommunications services to schools, libraries and rural healthcare facilities; it also serves to subsidize local service in high-cost areas and low-income households. In June 2006, the FCC required VoIP providers to contribute to the USF. For additional information on the FSLS, please visit www.fcc.gov


What are Regulatory Recovery Fee surcharges?

The Regulatory Recovery Fee is $1.98 per BroadVoice primary phone number. It is a fee that BroadVoice charges its customers for but not limited to local number portability costs, CALEA compliance costs and other regulatory related fees and cost. The Regulatory Recovery Fee also includes similar cost incurred in foreign countries.


How does BroadVoice bill for services?

BroadVoice only offers convenient online billing. Your credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express) is charged automatically on a monthly basis. Your account will be activated upon sign up. However, your billing cycle begins when the order is fulfilled.

Currently, each month we deduct your balance automatically from the credit card you provided at signup. You will be sent a statement via email detailing your call log and charges. We are working to implement online billing and call log features to the BroadVoice Account Portal. We anticipate availability of these features soon.

Will I receive a paper bill?

BroadVoice bills 100% electronically to keep costs low. Your bill is available on-line by email and via the BroadVoice Account Portal. You can view your service usage, charges and all account activities for any billing period.

What does my on-line Monthly Statement look like?

Every month you will receive a BroadVoice Monthly Statement via email. This Statement will include all charges outlined in an easy to understand chart that includes all In State Calls, State to State Calls, International Calls, Directory Service Calls, Inbound Toll Free Calls, the Regulatory Recover Fee and the Universal Service Fund Fee. You will know exactly what you've been charged. Additionally, all of your Statements are archived in your Account Portal.


Can unused minutes be carried to the next month?

With BroadVoice service you do not have to manage your minutes. If you sign up for the BroadVoice Unlimited Plan all calls within the continental United States are included in the basic monthly plan service charge. The only extra charges are directory assistance calls. If you select the BroadVoice Unlimited In-State Plan, all in-state calls, except for directory assistance calls, are included in the basic monthly plan service charge. International calls are charged on a per minute basis.


Do you take any other method of payment besides a credit card?

BroadVoice only accepts payment by credit card. BroadVoice accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.


What if there is a problem with my credit card?

If your automatic monthly credit card payment cannot be processed for any reason, we will notify you immediately by email.

  • Your outbound calling service will be suspended.

  • If after 14 days of suspension, your account balance has not been paid in full, your BroadVoice service account will be deactivated.

Are there overage charges?

There are no overage charges with BroadVoice service. All in-state calls are included in your monthly plan service charge. State-to-state calls on our BroadVoice Unlimited In-State Plan are billed at 3.9¢ per minute.

Note: If you are using BroadVoice for business calling, please be sure to sign up under the appropriate Unlimited Business Plan. Use of Residential vs. Business Services are outlined in our Terms of Service.


Can I change my rate plan at any time?

You can change your rate plan—with no additional charges—once per billing cycle. When changing rate plans, you may choose to have the change take effect immediately or at the end of your billing period. If you choose to change your rate plan immediately, your service will be pro-rated for the period it is on the old plan and the new plan

There is no charge for changing your billing plan, and you can make the change yourself, once in a billing cycle, with your BroadVoice Account Portal.

If I suspect an error on my bill, who should I contact to resolve it?

If you feel you have any questions concerning charges on your bill, contact BroadVoice's Billing Department .


Can I cancel at any time?

We hope you won't, but yes, you may cancel at any time. If you cancel within the first 30 days of service activation for any reason, through our Money Back Guarantee we will waive the $39.95 disconnect fee and refund your activation and first month of service*.

*You must cancel your service within 30 days of the activation of your account, must not have signed up for any commitment program, return your equipment within 14 days of cancellation and have not exceeded 250 minutes of in-plan usage in the first 30 days of service. You are responsible for any charges for overage, international or directory assistance calls. If you exceed 250 minutes, you will not be refunded for the first month of service. Customer is responsible for return shipping.


Are calls to cell phones or mobile phones included in the plans?

Calls to cell phones or mobile phones in US and Canada are included in the plans. Calls to International cell phones or mobile phones in certain areas may be included. Please visit our Rate Plans page and refer to the country list for each individual plan. Also excluded in the plans are calls to Special Service numbers such as Toll-Free or Caller-Paid Information Service or 900 numbers.
