I think the old saying is true, "time flies when you are having fun." It has been a year that I have been with Broadvoice and what an adventure it has been. The last year was filled with road trips, trade shows, new products and new markets. Our travels have led to a successful re-launch of our VAR Partner Program and some great new relationships.
We started our nationwide rollout slowly and deliberately. It wasn't very long before we really got traction with eight channel managers covering the country. We have Los Angeles, Denver, Seattle, Kansas City, Minneapolis, Dallas, Tyler, and Orlando. Broadvoice is still looking to expand our coverage in Northern California and in the North East in this coming year.
In parallel with our VAR Program rollout, our product development team was equally busy. In the last year we have successfully launched a variety of new features and products, helping bolster our already comprehensive feature and product offerings. Our latest product release is our new Unified Communications Platform that incorporates, voice, video, email, fax, collaboration and so much more. We are especially proud of this product as its features are superior to other products on the market. This coupled with our enhanced features like Monitor/Whisper/Barge, Visual Conference Bridge, and Voicemail to Email Transcription makes our offering one of the most powerful in the industry. This gives you the competitive edge to make more money.
We know Broadvoice is not a household name… YET! However, we are taking all the right steps to make Broadvoice a leading name and brand in our industry. We have and will continue to play a prominent role and sponsor for our industry trade shows like Cloud Partners and Channel Partners. I think my best experience related to building our Brand Recognition was when I was getting my taxes done this year. My tax preparer had the Glenn Beck show on the TV in his office and our Broadvoice commercial came on; he looked down at my paperwork and said, "Hey, that's the company you work for!"
Looking ahead at the road in front of us, we are dedicated to our VAR Partner Program and you, our partners. We will continue to offer fun and exciting spiffs, do lunch & learns, and help you build a successful business around our offerings. As you know, we pride ourselves on being nimble, flexible and taking care of your customers the way you would take care of them; we will continue to embed this focus into everything we do.

It's no surprise that cloud based phone systems like Broadvoice's Cloud PBX are beginning to outpace on-premises PBX solutions. Though hosted solutions are quickly becoming the wave of the future, there are still many businesses who are under long term maintenance agreements on their existing on-premises solution.
