Broadvoice is looking for an experienced Local Number Provisioning Lead (LNP) to join our growing team. In this role, you will ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by leading inside support teams and customers in the process of transferring their business phone numbers to their Broadvoice VoIP accounts.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Verify documentation and customer LOAs
  • Monitor and update tickets in Salesforce
  • Approve local and toll-free port requests
  • Prepare, submit, monitor and document complex port requests with multiple carriers
  • Resolve escalated customer issues related to porting
  • Communicate porting status to customers
  • Work closely with carriers and end users to overcome LNP rejections in a timely manner
  • Liaise with the FCC and Public Utility Commission on porting requests and escalations
  • Un-provision numbers from the Broadvoice database
  • Update E911 and CNAM rules and regulations
  • Serve as a liaison between customers, internal teams, vendors and partners for porting requests and escalations
  • Conduct monthly inventory audits and resolve discrepancies in Broadvoice and carrier databases
  • Coach and train LNP Specialists
  • Implement LNP-related process improvements
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Bring to The Team:

  • Familiarity with the telecommunications industry (8MS, prior CSF, or similar platform certifications a plus!)
  • Experience working with Neustar, NPAC, NANPA
  • Knowledge related to VoIP, POTs, PRIs, digital services, LATA, Rate Center, NPA/NXX, Number Pooling and PSTN
  • Experience pulling and reading CSRs and LSRs
  • A self-starter with a customer-focus
  • Strong organization skills (time management, prioritization, attention to detail, etc.)
  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
  • Experience using MS Office tools; technically savvy
  • A track record of problem-solving and managing multiple tasks while paying close attention to detail
  • Ability to think on your feet and solve escalations on the fly
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience leading and mentoring team members
