These are the star codes for the BroadVoice networks.

Aquarius

The following information is specifically for customers who are on our Aquarius Network
If you are unsure of which network you are on please read Network Identification to discover which network your service uses.

Speed Dial

While not a Star Code, you would use the Aquarius speed dials much like a star code.

You would dial the number of the speed dial slot you wish to use followed by the # key.

An example:

  • Pick up you BroadVoice line.
  • Dial 05#
  • The phone number associated with speed dial #05 would be dialed.


*21 : Voicemail

top Dialing *21 will take you directly to your Voicemail.


*60 : Selective Call Rejection

top This feature allows you to reject selected inbound callers.

Once you have dialed *60, the options are:

To reject the person that called you last: Dial the pound key # then 01 then the pound key #.

To toggle Call Rejection On or Off: Dial 3.

To add an entry: Dial the pound key #, then dial the number(including the area code) followed by the pound key #.

To remove an entry: Dial the star key *, then dial the number(including the area code) followed by the star key *.

To listen to the entries already entered: Dial the number 1.

To repeat the instructions: Dial the number 0.

*62 : Call Forwarding When Busy

top This feature will forward any incoming calls you might get ONLY when your line is busy


*63 : Deactivate Call Forwarding When Busy

top This star code deactivates the Call Forward When Busy feature.


*67 : Block Outgoing Caller ID

top This will block your outgoing caller ID for the current call. You would dial *67 the area code, and then the phone number you wish to call. Your caller ID will not be displayed.


*69 : Call Return

top Dialoing this star code will place a call to the last phone number that called you.

If the last call you received had their caller ID blocked, this feature will not work.

*72 : Activate Call Forwarding

top This will activate call forwarding of all inbound calls to the specified phone number.

To use:

  • Pick up the BroadVoice Phone.
  • Once you hear a dial tone, dial *72 + the number to forward all calls to + #.


Example:

  • Dial *72 818 555 1212 #.
  • Hang up the BroadVoice phone.


*73 : Deactivate Call Forwarding

top This will disable any call forwarding and will send all calls to your Phone Power phone.

To use:

  • Pick up the Phone Power phone.
  • Once you hear a dial tone, dial *73#.
  • Hang up the Phone Power phone.

*77 : Activate Anonymous Call Rejection

top The feature allows you to block inbound callers who do not show their Caller ID. Such as Unknown, Private, or Blocked Caller ID.


*78 : Activate Do Not Disturb

Attention

Alert.png This feature can not be used with the Softphone or Zippy USB Adapter

You will still be able place outbound calls, but your phone will function as if Busy when an inbound call tries to call your BroadVoice phone number.


*79 : Deactivates Do Not Disturb

This is will Disable the Do Not Disturb Feature.


*82 : Show Caller ID

top This star code will unblock your caller ID for a single outgoing call. This feature will only work if you set your Caller ID to be blocked all the time. This can be set in your Account Portal in the Service Settings > Outbound CNAM screen.

To use:

  • Pick up the Phone Power phone.
  • Once you hear a dial tone, dial *82 + the phone number you want to dial.
  • Example: *82 818 555 1212.
  • This will allow your caller ID information to be displayed to the person you are calling.
  • The person you are calling will see your Caller ID information for this single outbound call. Any outbound call placed after you hang up the phone will display your Caller ID to be Blocked to the person you are calling.


*83 : Selective Call Forwarding

top This feature allows you to add or delete phone numbers in the Selective Call Forwarding Settings.

Once you have dialed *83, the options are:

  • To toggle the service on or off: Dial 3.
  • To add last inbound caller: Dial the pound key # then 01 then the pound key( # ).
  • To add an entry: Dial dial the number you want your calls forwarded to, then the pound key( # )(including the area code) followed by the number 1 key to confirm.
  • To remove an entry: Dial the star key( * ), then dial the number(including the area code) followed by the star key( * ).
  • To remove all entries: Dial the number 0 key, then the number 8 key followed by the star key( * ).
  • To removed anonymous entries: Dial the number 0 key, then the number 9 key followed by the star key( * ).
  • To listen to the entries already entered: Dial the number 1.
  • To repeat the instructions: Dial the number 0.


*87 : Disable Anonymous Call Rejection

top The feature allows you to unblock inbound callers who do not show their Caller ID. Such as Unknown, Private, or Blocked Caller ID will be allowed now.


*92 : Activate Call Forwarding On No Answer

top This will activate the call forwarding on no answer from the phone. This will direct inbound calls that are not answered by the Phone Power phone to be directed to another phone number.


To use:

  • Pick up the Phone Power phone.
  • Once you hear the dial tone, dial *92 + the phone number you wish to have the calls forwarded to.
  • Hang up the phone.


Example:

  • Dial *92 818 555 1212 then hang up the phone.


*93 : Deactivate Call Forwarding On No Answer

top This will Disable the Call Forwarding No Answer Feature.






Capricorn

If you are unsure of which network you are on please read Network Identification to discover which network your service uses.

*00 : Redial

top This will redial the last number you called from your BroadVoice account.

*01 - *20 : Speed Dial

top Star Codes *01 through *20 are reserved for personal speed dials.

An example:

  • Pick up the BroadVoice phone.
  • Once you hear the dial tone, dial *01.
  • The system will dial the phone number that is associated with Star Code 01.


These codes are configurable from your MyAccount Portal. Once you are logged into your MyAccount, click on Speed Dials link on left side of page.

  • Select the drop down menu for the selected star assignment.
  • Now select the phone number you wish to add.
  • Once you are finished, click on the Save My Choices button to save your changes.

Attention

Alert.png If you navigate from this page without saving the changes, your changes will be lost.

*21 : Voicemail

top Dialing this star code from your BroadVoice line will access your Voicemail directly.


*53 : Remote Call Pick Up

Attention

Alert.png This feature can only be used with Residential Plans with multiple phone lines on the same BroadVoice Account or for a Business Account.

For Residential use:

  • Dial *53 + the last 4 digits of the telephone number that is ringing + #.
  • The call will be answered on the phone you are using.


For Business use:

  • Dial *53 + the extension that is ringing + #.
  • The call will be answered on the phone you are using.


*54 : Activate Group Remote Call Pickup

Attention

Alert.png This feature can only be used with Residential Plans with multiple phone lines on the same BroadVoice Account or for a Business Account.

If multiple lines are ringing at the same time, this will intercept the line that started ringing first.

  • If a BroadVoice phone other then the one you are using is ringing, dial *54 # to immediately pickup the ringing line, regardless of where it is.


*61 : Block Caller ID On ALL Outgoing Calls

Alert.png Using this option overwrites outbound caller ID blocking from the My Account settings.

This will Block the Caller ID for all outgoing calls placed from your BroadVoice phone.

To use:

  • Pick up the BroadVoice phone.
  • Once you hear a dial tone, dial *61#.
  • Hang up the BroadVoice phone.
  • Now caller ID will be blocked for all outbound calls.


*62 : Activates Forwarding While Busy

top This will feature forward all incoming calls to a specified phone number when the BroadVoice phone is busy.

To use:

  • Pick up the BroadVoice phone.
  • Once you hear a dial tone, dial *62 + 10 digit number to forward the calls to + #.
  • Example - *62 818 555 1212 #.
  • Hang up the BroadVoice phone.
  • Calls will be directed to the phone number specified.


*63 : Deactivates Forwarding While Busy

top This will deactivate the Call Forwarding On Bust feature that is set using *62.

Dial *63# to disable Call Forwarding While Busy


*65 : Deactivates Caller ID Blocking On All Calls

top Deactivates Caller ID Blocking for all outgoing calls that was activated with *61.

Once this feature is activated, you will send your Caller ID for every outbound call.

All phone calls placed from the BroadVoice phone will display the Caller ID information to the person you are calling.


*66 : Redial Until Answered

top Activates the Redial Until Answered feature for the last number called from your BroadVoice line.

When activated, the last phone number that you dialed is automatically redialed until the called party is connected or 30 minutes passes.

To use:

  • Pick up the BroadVoice phone.
  • Once you hear a dial tone, dial *66.
  • Hang up the BroadVoice phone.
  • When the call connects, your phone will ring and the call will function normally.


*67 : Block Caller ID for one call

top This feature will block your caller ID for a single outbound call.

To use:

  • Pick up the BroadVoice phone.
  • Once you hear a dial tone, dial *67 + the number you want to dial.


For example:

  • *67 818 555 1212 would dial 818-555-1212
  • The called party at that phone number destination would receive: "Restricted" or "Private"
  • The caller ID will not display your name and phone number on their caller ID for one call.


*69 : Call Return

top Activates the Call Return Feature for the last incoming call.

Pick up the phone and press *69 # to dial the number of the last incoming call. If the last call you received had their caller ID blocked, this feature will not work.


*70 : Deactivates Call Waiting For One Call

Alert.png This feature is not usable on any of the Grandstream VoIP Adapters.

This will Disable Call Waiting on a single outbound call.

To use:

  • Pick up the BroadVoice phone.
  • Once you hear the dial tone, dial *70 + phone number you are calling + #.
  • Example: *70 818 555 1212 #.

The first call that is received while you are on an active phone call will not send the call waiting signal and will instead be directed as if the BroadVoice phone was Busy.

Any call placed after that first Busy call to the BroadVoice phone will function normally.


*72 : Activate Call Forwarding

top This will activate call forwarding of all inbound calls to the specified phone number.

To use:

  • Pick up the BroadVoice Phone.
  • Once you hear a dial tone, dial *72 + the number to forward all calls to + #.

Example:

  • Dial *72 818 555 1212 #.
  • Hang up the BroadVoice phone.


*73 : Deactivates Call Forwarding

top This will disable any call forwarding and will send all calls to your BroadVoice phone.


*74 : Assign A Speed Dial

top This will let you assign a phone number to Speed Dial code. Speed dial codes are *01 - *20.


To use:

  • Pick up the BroadVoice phone.
  • Dial *74 + the speed dial you want to assign (01-20) + * + the phone number to be assigned + #.
  • Example: *74 01 * 818 555 1212 #.
  • This will assign speed dial *01 to dial the phone number (818) 555-1212.
  • Hang up the BroadVoice phone.

You will be able to call that phone number you just assigned by dialing the respective Star Code.


*75 : Delete A Speed Dial

top This will Delete the phone number from the specified Speed Dial code.

To use: (Note - This example will delete the speed dial configured for *01.)

  • Pick up the BroadVoice phone.
  • Dial *75 + the speed dial you want to delete (01-20) + #.
  • Example: *75 01 #.


*78 : Activate Do Not Disturb

Alert.png Can not be used with the Softphone or Zippy USB Adapter

This will Enable the Do Not Disturb Feature.


You will still be able place outbound calls, but your phone will function as if Busy when an inbound call tries to call your BroadVoice phone number.


*79 : Deactivate Do Not Disturb

This is will Disable Do Not Disturb on your BroadVoice line.


*82 : Unblock Caller ID For One Call

Attention

Alert.png This feature will only work if your caller ID is set to be blocked all the time or have used *61 to block your caller ID for outbound calls.

This star code will unblock your caller ID for a single outgoing call.

To use:

  • Pick up the BroadVoice phone.
  • Once you hear a dial tone, dial *82 + the phone number you want to dial.
  • Example: *82 818 555 1212.
  • This will allow your caller ID information to be displayed to the person you are calling.
  • The person you are calling will see your Caller ID information for this single outbound call. Any outbound call placed after you hang up the phone will display your Caller ID to be Blocked to the person you are calling.


*86 : Disable Redial Until Answered

top Turns off the Redial Until Answered Feature.

This will Cancel any Redial Until Answered that you have activated within the last 30 minutes.


*92 : Activate Call Forward If No Answer

top This will activate the Call Forward If No Answer from the phone. This will direct inbound calls that are not answered by the BroadVoice phone to be directed to another phone number.

To use:

  • Pick up the BroadVoice phone.
  • Once you hear the dial tone, dial *92 + the phone number you wish to have the calls forwarded to.
  • Hang up the phone.


Example:

  • Dial *92 818 555 1212 then hang up the phone.


*93 : Deactivate Call Forward If No Answer

top This will Disable the Call Forward No Answer Feature.
