Voice Mail

  1. You may dial *86 (*VM) from your BroadVoice phone to enter the Voice Mail portal.
  2. Your initial default voicemail password is 0 0 0 0.
  3. You may also enter your voice mail portal from any other phone by dialing your BroadVoice number. Then, when the voicemail greeting answers, simply dial * to enter your password.

Troubleshooting:

If your phone is not receiving dial tone:

  1. Power cycle or reboot your GrandStream adapter by pulling out the power cord, waiting one minute, and replacing the power cord.
  2. Confirm that the device is receiving IP:

    • Pick up phone again, press the illuminated button on top of the GrandStream device and dial 0 2 to get the current DHCP provided IP address of the adapter on your network.

  3. If no IP address is discernable, reboot your entire network including modem, router/switch and the GrandStream adapter in that order. If your PC connected to the same network router is receiving IP and can surf the web while your GrandStream still does not receive an IP address, replace the Ethernet cabling connected to your GrandStream device.
  4. From your router’s web configuration page, disable Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) settings (if applicable) on your network router.
  5. From your router’s web configuration page, open port 5060 for UDP service to the IP address of your GrandStream device.
  6. Contact BroadVoice Customer Care.
