Introduced in April of 2004, the BroadVoice service enables consumers and businesses to use an existing high speed Internet connection to make and receive calls anywhere in the world using a regular telephone set. BroadVoice subscribers can choose a direct-dial telephone number from any of the 35 states and 1,500 cities and towns the company currently offers, regardless of the user's geographic location.
