Retail packaging allows Agents to make money on hardware and service activation

Las Vegas, NV January 7, 2005 - BroadVoice, the industry leader in feature-rich, low-cost Internet telephone services for home and small business users, today announced the January 2005 launch of its BroadVoice Start-Up Kits based on the Sipura 1001 Phone Adapter, and Sipura 2100 Broadband Router and Phone Adapter combination. The Start-Up Kits will be marketed by certified BroadVoice Agents who in turn sell them to end users. These kits work with the BroadVoice service, allowing customers to make telephone calls over their existing high speed (broadband) Internet connections, and provides them with a rich set of calling features, such as voicemail, caller ID, and call waiting. Each kit comes with a Retail Activation Key that waives all set-up charges.

Retailers who sell the BroadVoice Start-Up Kits have the opportunity to earn margin on hardware subsidized by BroadVoice, and become eligible to earn a commission when the customer signs up for a BroadVoice service plan.

Customers who purchase a BroadVoice Start-Up Kit can join the VoIP revolution in as little as 5 minutes. The kits include everything necessary to make and receive telephone calls over an existing high speed Internet connection.

The BroadVoice Broadband Phone Adapter SPA-1001BV connects any touch tone phone to a high speed Internet modem or router. Customers who purchase the Broadvoice Broadband Router & Phone Adapter SPA-2100BV can share their high speed connection with more than one computer, and make VoIP phone calls at the same time.

BroadVoice offers service plans starting at $9.95 for unlimited in state calling. The $19.95 Unlimited World plan offers free calls to 21 countries including the United States, most of Western Europe and China. For $24.95 the Unlimited World Plus plan provides free calls to 35 countries, including Brazil, Japan and Israel. The BroadVoice Small Business plan costs $29.95 per month.
